Al-Ahly sues the stars of Zamalek .. and the “White Castle” responds in kind

Al-Ahly club decided to file complaints against a number of former Zamalek stars and media figures to the Supreme Council for Media Regulation and to file lawsuits against them, because of what he called abuse against Al-Ahly, its officials and fans, and an attempt to distort its championships, as he put it.


Al-Ahly said in a statement today, Sunday: “The administration assigned the club’s legal affairs to take legal measures and file lawsuits against all those who overstepped the right of Al-Ahly, its leaders and fans, as well as addressing the authorities responsible for granting licenses to these channels to investigate this matter, and take what is necessary to preserve On the state of peace among the masses in complete bias and violation of the media honor charter, inciting strife, and calling for hatred and division among the people of the country.


Al-Ahly’s complaint list included a number of former football stars, especially those belonging to the Zamalek club, led by Reda Abdel-Aal, Khaled Al-Ghandour, Shawky Al-Saeed, and Ahmed Eid Abdel-Malik, in addition to the complaint of the Zamalek channel.


And “Sada Al-Balad” channel revealed that Zamalek is on the way to escalate against Al-Ahly Club in response to a complaint by a number of its former stars, and the “Al-Match” program said that “Zamalek is preparing a list of complaints from some of Al-Ahly’s stars and the club’s channel, in a step that is a new escalation in the relationship between The two clubs experienced a period of calm.


For his part, international player Ahmed Hossam Mido said on Al-Nahar channel that Al-Ahly was previously excused in responding to the abuses that were coming to him from the Zamalek club during the era of the previous council, specifically from an unnamed individual.


He added in media statements: “Today, there is no justification for Al-Ahly’s permanent attack on Zamalek, especially since the current committee did not have any hostile statements against Al-Ahly or any of its officials. On the contrary, they had constructive positions by congratulating Al-Ahly on more than one occasion for winning the continental championships.”
