After contracting to train Iraq .. Advocaat: I did not sign for the money

The coach of the Iraqi Dutch national team Advocaat confirmed that he did not completely retire from football, as much as he stopped working as a coach with clubs.

"I stopped coaching clubs, but coaching national teams remained an open option," Advocaat told Dutch newspaper Eddy Sport.

He continued, "I am happy with this challenge, and it is a wonderful adventure, and I did not sign with the Iraqi national team for money, but the goal is to lead the Iraqi team to qualify for the next World Cup in 2022, and we have to work to achieve the dream of qualifying for the World Cup, and I am happy with this challenge."

It is noteworthy that Iraq will play in the group that includes the Emirates, Syria, South Korea, Lebanon and Iran.
