Australia lost to Sweden in the group stage.

And before the semi-final, Gustavsson has to sort out some question marks.

Sam Kerr is one of five players who risk missing a start in the semifinals against Sweden.

Steph Catley, Ellie Carpenter, Tameka Yallop and Emily Van Egmond have also been a big part of Australia's historic success in Tokyo.

All players have played in all four matches, over nine days.

Something that now turns out to have taken a heavy toll on the key players.

- We have a couple of question marks, but I want to be clear that it is not just about the starting line-up, but also about the final line-up, says Tony Gustavsson according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

However, it is believed that the team captain will probably be able to get to the start, otherwise she is expected to be able to change the match picture if she comes in from the bench.

Mary Fowler is then expected to take a place in the starting eleven instead of Kerr.
