Ansan defeated Mackenzie Brown (USA) 6-5 after a shoot-off in the semifinals of the women's individual archery competition at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics held at the Yumenoshima Park Archery Field in Tokyo, Japan on the 30th.
Ansan will face off against the winner of the match between Jelena Osipova (Russian Olympic Committee) and Ruchila Boari (Italy) for the gold medal at 4:45 pm.
Ansan, who won a gold medal in the mixed team event first introduced at the Tokyo Olympics and won the women's team event, also wins the individual event final, becoming the first ever three-time Olympic archery champion.
