The final of the summer national high school baseball Yamaguchi tournament was held on the 29th, and Takagawa Gakuen defeated Ube Kojo High School 8 to 1 and decided to participate in the second summer Koshien for the first time in five years.

The final of the Yamaguchi tournament was a match between Ube Kojo, who is aiming for the third Koshien in two consecutive tournaments, and Takagawa Gakuen, who is aiming for the second Koshien for the first time in five years.



Takagawa Gakuen took the lead with a timely hit by No. 4 Masahiro Tateishi in the first inning, and added two points in the second inning.



Ube Kojo returned 1 point with a sacrifice fly in the 3rd inning, but in the 5th inning, Tateishi hit a two-run home run to widen the lead, and pitcher Kono Ace added with slow and fast pitching. I won 8 to 1 without allowing points.



Takagawa Gakuen is the second summer Koshien participation for the first time in five years.
