Children during the summer vacation have begun an online interview with Tokyo Olympic medalists, and Yukiko Ueno, who won the gold medal in softball, answered the children's questions.

This was started by the JOC = Japanese Olympic Committee to make the children watching at the stay home during the summer vacation feel closer to the Olympic athletes.

Children up to the age of 18 selected by lottery can interview the medalists directly online.

So far, skateboarding women's street Nishiya Kabuki, men's street Yuto Horigome, and softball Ueno, who have all won gold medals, have interviewed online.

Of these, Ueno, who was asked a question on the 28th, was asked by an elementary school student, "What should I do when I'm nervous?" It can be turned into power. "

In addition, Nishiya responded to an interview on the 27th, the day after the gold medal, and when asked, "Why can you do anything to your heart's content?" You can do it to your heart's content. "

This initiative is carried out throughout the Games and can be applied from the JOC website.
