Tokyo Olympics records seven cases of coronavirus

The Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games, currently being held in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, announced today the registration of seven new cases of infection with the emerging corona virus.

Thus, the number of infected people among those involved in the Olympics has reached 155, as of July 1.

The new cases included two athletes, one of whom is a Dutch tennis player, according to the organizing committee.

Dutch duo Jan Julien Roger and Wesley Kohlhoff withdrew from the men's doubles tennis competitions at the Olympics yesterday, after Roger became the sixth player in the Netherlands delegation to contract the new Corona virus.
