The initial laps were lined with several flips and Jenny Rissveds was then in tenth place - just over a minute behind the lead.

Leading Jolanda Neff opened strongly and did not let go of the lead.

With just over half the race left, Neff had just over a minute to the nearest competitor.

- She does a fantastic first half of the competition.

She is the one who controls and sets, said commentator Roberto Vacchi in Discovery +.

Triple Switzerland on the podium

Jolanda Neff finished in sixth place in Rio 2016 but today she got her revenge.

She finished first of all after 1.15.46 and was joined on the podium by compatriots Stina Frei and Linda Indergand.

Jenny Rissveds continued to lose time and in the final stage she was forced into the technical zone to change tires due to a puncture - which cost several placements.

It ended up being a 14th place for the Swede, who hugged the winner Jolanda Neff after the finish.
