'Post Tae-Hwan Park' Seon-Woo Hwang set a new Korean record in the 100m freestyle and landed in the semifinals. 



Hwang Seon-woo placed second (47.97) in the group 7 event of the men's 100m freestyle qualifier at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics held at the Aquatics Center in Tokyo, Japan on the 27th. 



Hwang Seon-woo, who started in lane 3, did not take the lead when shooting the 50m touchpad, but finished the race in 2nd place after making a turn. 



Hwang Seon-woo is the first Korean player to cross the 48-second barrier. 



Hwang Seon-woo, who broke the previous Korean record (48 seconds 04), advanced to the semi-finals by placing 6th overall in the preliminary round.
