In Gyo-don (29 years old, Korea Gas Corporation), the heavyweight leader of the taekwondo master country, won a bronze medal in the first Olympic stage of his life.

In Gyodon won the bronze medal by defeating Ivan Konrad Trikovich (Slovenia) 5-4 in the men's over 80kg bronze medal match on the last day of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Taekwondo match held at Makuhari Messe Hall A in Chiba, Japan.

This is the second medal that Korea has harvested in Taekwondo this year, following the bronze medal of Jang Jun in the men's 58kg class.

In Gyodon, the first Olympic participant, lost 12-6 to Dejan Georgievski of North Macedonia in the semifinals and failed to advance to the finals, but won a valuable medal by winning the bronze medal match.

29-year-old In Gyo-don is the world's second strongest man in the men's 80kg weight division.

In Gyo-don was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2014 when he was 22 years old, but overcame it and succeeded in recovering by winning a silver medal at the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade.
