In the Olympics, Sarah Sjöström and sisters Louise and Sophie Hansson mainly swam in the middle of the night Swedish time, late in the evening in the USA and in the morning in Tokyo where the Olympic Games are decided.

And during a competition day, heats in other disciplines and distances have been decided in the evening local time.

- It's really tough.

We would have seen better results if the finals were decided in the evening.

World record would have been broken.

But in the mornings, the results are not what they should have been.

It is the same for everyone, says Julija Jefimova.

Meets Hansson

The 29-year-old, who won Olympic silver in the 100 and 200 meters breaststroke in Rio de Janeiro, believes that the rights holders and money have too much influence in the schedule.

"Unfortunately, money is everything in this world, and no one cares what the athletes want," says Jefimova.

Jefimova is ready for the final of the 100 meter breaststroke, where she will face Sophie Hansson.

The final will be decided at 11.17 local time.
