Hwang Seon-woo competed in the men's 200m freestyle at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics held at the Aquatics Center in Tokyo, Japan on the 26th. 



Hwang Seon-woo, who broke the Korean record at the first Olympic Games in his life and placed first in the preliminary round, succeeded in advancing to the final by finishing sixth in the semi-final.



Hwang Seon-woo started from lane 4 and recorded 51.31 seconds in the 100m section.



After the 100m turn, he started his second half spurt, finishing sixth with a time of 1:45.53.
