The Japanese men's archery team won the bronze medal after a fierce fight that went to the shoot-off.



Japan met the Netherlands in the men's archery team event bronze medal match at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games held at the Archery Field in Yumenoshima Park, Tokyo on the 26th and was unable to decide the match with a set score of 4-4.



In the subsequent shoot-off, the Netherlands scored their first foot on 10 points and dominated the lead.

Japan gave up the lead with 9 points.



The second arrow pierced nine points for both teams.

In the last shot, the Netherlands increased 9 points and Japan 10 points to a tie of 28-28, but Japan, who put the arrow closest to the center of the target, won the bronze medal.



Japan's last runner, Hiroki Muto, shed tears of joy after successfully finishing one foot for a bronze medal.
