56 triathletes lined up for the initial swimming distance of 1,500 meters.

But when the starting shot went, only about half of them dived in, while the rest of the questioners remained on the bridge.

The reason: An official boat was in the way.

Stop after 200 meters

A number of small boats and jet skis set off to try to stop the cluster in the water.

And only after about 200 meters of swimming did you get a stop on the lead which at a leisurely pace could get back to the start, after a little too strenuous and involuntary extra warm-up.

About 10 minutes later, the start could be performed again.

This time without drama.

It is not yet known if it was the official boat that was in the wrong place or if the starting shot went too early.

In the end, the competition was won by Norwegian Kristian Blummenfelt.
