Jonna Adlerteg probably made the best competition of her career in the bars at the Olympics in Tokyo.

But it was still not enough for the final.

Adlerteg finished tenth in the qualifiers, and was a paltry 33 thousandths from an Olympic final, where eight gymnasts qualified.

Adlerteg made 14,533.

American star Simone Biles took the last final place at 14,566.
