Urgent.. Tunisia presents the Arabs with a silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics through Jendoubi

A short while ago, Tunisia won the first Arab medal in the Olympic Games, currently being held in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, after the final match between Tunisian taekwondo star Mohamed Jendoubi and his Italian counterpart Vito Della Quella.

Jendoubi won the silver, while the Italian won gold.

The result of the final match was close between the two, and Jendoubi almost won the gold had it not been for the decline in the third round, which ended 8-3 in favor of the Italian, while Jendoubi lost in the overall match with a score of 16-12.

The result is an important achievement for Arab Taekwondo, and for Tunisia in particular, in light of the great difficulties that Tunisian players have experienced due to the pandemic and the difficulty of preparing as required for the Olympic Games.
