The first day of qualifying for dressage, which is both an individual and a group, was held for the Tokyo Olympics, and Kazuki Sado, who participated in the Olympics for the first time, finished in 9th place at the bottom of the group.

There are three types of equestrian at the Olympic Games: dressage, show jumping, and eventing.

Of these, dressage is an event in which the accuracy of the steps of horses and the beauty of movement are competed in a rectangular horse field, and the posture of the athletes is also evaluated, so the performance of "Jinba Ittai" is required.

In the qualifying round, about 60 players will be divided into 6 groups, and the top 2 players from each group and the other 6 players with the highest scores will advance to the final.

On the 24th, the first day of qualifying, three groups performed, and Sado of Group A finished in 9th place, the lowest in the group, with a scoring rate of 62.531.

On the 25th, the second day of qualifying, the remaining three groups will perform, and Hiroyuki Kitahara and Shingo Hayashi will participate from Japan.
