The UAE federation chooses the national team stadium for the first leg of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers

The Emirates Football Association chose Zabeel Stadium (Al-Wasl Club) to host the national team’s matches in the first leg of the final round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup for the benefit of Group A, which includes the teams of the Emirates, Iran, South Korea, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.

 The Asian Football Confederation had approved the stadiums hosting the first leg matches and their dates, as our national team will start its qualifiers against Lebanon at Zabeel Stadium in Dubai on the second of September, while the Syrian team will face in the second round on the seventh of the same month at King Abdullah Stadium The second is in the Jordanian capital, Amman.



In the third and fourth rounds, it will host Iran and Iraq at Zabeel Stadium on October 7 and 12, while the fifth and sixth rounds will play abroad against South Korea on November 11 at Seoul Stadium for the World Cup, and against Lebanon in the second leg on October 16 at Sidon Municipal Stadium.
