It's provisional that will last at least another year.

The European Rugby Cup version 2021-2022 will take place in the same somewhat convoluted format as that of the past season, with 24 teams divided into two pools.

Finalists in the spring, Stade Toulousain and La Rochelle inherited a draw within their reach.

The Rouge et Noir, champions of Europe and then of France, will face the English from Wasps and the Welsh from Cardiff in a pool.

As for the unfortunate finalists, on the continental then national level, they have an appointment with the English in Bath and the Scots in Glasgow.

Start of competition in December

The 2021-2022 Champions Cup season will span nine weekends, including four group stage days starting in December.
