<Anchor> The

opening of the Tokyo Olympics is two days away, and our archery team did their first adaptation training in Tokyo. We challenge the new myth of winning all sports for the second time in a row through the sweltering heat and sea breeze.

Taegeuk archers constantly pull their bowstrings at the Yumenoshima Park Archery Field, which is located on the beach and has no shade.

The temperature of the archery field here, where there is no place to hide from the scorching sun, is over 35 degrees Celsius.

From the moment I put the bow down in the sweltering heat

[Minhee Jang / National Archery Representative: An ice bag. To cool your head a little~] An

ice bag is a must.

It also replenishes moisture and salt from time to time.

[Kang Chae-young / Archery National Team: (What do you eat?) Nuts and jerky.] With the

capricious sea breeze blowing, the players trained for nearly 5 hours on the first day, going back and forth between the ranking rounds and the final tournament arena.

Korea, which won both men's and women's individual and group titles in Rio five years ago, prepared perfectly for this event as well.

After making the stadium in Korea the same size and location as the Olympic Stadium, we even put in a relay team to train like the real thing.

In addition, in preparation for the sea breeze, we conducted island-wide training, and aimed at all five sports, including the newly established mixed group.

[Oh Jin-hyuk / National Archery National Team: It is the last Olympics for me, and I will prepare well and finish the game well.] To

win the championship in all sports for the second time in a row Korean archery goes hunting for gold from the day after the opening day.
