Introducing the enthusiasm of the Japanese national team players for the Tokyo Olympics with a video.

I'm Rikako Ikee, a female swimmer.

Rikako Ikee is 20 years old from Tokyo.

Specializing in butterfly strokes and freestyle swimming, it has a beautiful underwater posture with little resistance to water and a large and relaxed swim that makes use of the softness of the joints around the shoulders.

At the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, where she entered at the age of 16, she finished fifth in the women's 100-meter butterfly.

In addition to the record of the short waterway of the 25-meter pool, he has a Japanese record of "11" in the individual event.

I was diagnosed with leukemia in February 2019 and left the competition to fight illness, but after about 10 months of hospitalization, I returned to the race in August last year.

After that, due to the effects of fighting illness, the weight and muscle strength that had lost more than 15 kg at one time have not fully recovered, so we faced the problem of being late in the early stages of the race, and put effort into "food training" to enlarge the body and start practice. I put it in.

At the tournament in February this year, I was impressed that I was steadily regaining my strength, such as marking a good time equivalent to the final advancement of the adult world championship with a 50-meter butterfly.

At the Japan Championship in April, I won all four events, including the women's 100-meter butterfly, and decided to become a representative.

For the Tokyo Olympics, which will be the second consecutive tournament, I am enthusiastic to show the swimming that pulls the team at the women's 400m relay that will be held from the first day of the swimming competition.
