The committee called on Al-Ahly’s administration to “punish the cause of these unacceptable transgressions, otherwise it is considered a tacit approval by them of that disgraceful behavior, which increases the tension among the masses, and the management of the Al-Ahly club bears his responsibility.”

For its part, Al-Ahly channel apologized to the Zamalek club management committee for the management of the channel’s social networking sites against the club, stressing its respect for the White Castle and its symbols, and said in a statement: “The Al-Ahly channel’s social media management presents a duty apology to the Zamalek Club Board of Directors, who presented with love Respect and congratulations on Al-Ahly’s victory in its tenth African title.”

She added: "One of the workers in the social media sector wrote an inappropriate comment, and accordingly the administration decided to suspend him from work and transfer him to investigation in preparation for his dismissal."
