It's a victory that will make a lot of talk, for good and bad.
Struggling for several Grands Prix, Lewis Hamilton reminded everyone at home why he was a seven-time Formula 1 world champion. After such a fierce battle in the first lap that Verstappen crashed into a wall of tire, the Briton recovered from second position after 40 minutes of stoppage.

Charles Leclerc, who had nabbed first place after contact between Hamilton and Verstappen, then resisted him well despite engine failure problems on his Ferrari. The Monegasque had a break, however, with the 10-second penalty suffered by the Mercedes driver for the first race. But until Hamilton is out, the race is never over. At a hellish pace, he forced Mercedes to ask poor Valteri Bottas to let him pass.
Ten laps from the end, the Briton came back like a bomb on the Ferrari, catching up almost a second per lap.
He ended up passing him brilliantly on the penultimate lap, performing almost the same maneuver as on Verstappen earlier.
Forced to leave the track to save his car, Leclerc bowed.
In the championship, Hamilton takes 25 of the 33 points behind Verstappen.
