"Extremely competent"
SVT employee Ann-Britt Ryd Pettersson is also a former colleague of Engstrand.
They worked together in the 80's.
- I remember him as extremely competent, he knew many areas even if it is football many people remember him for.
He shared both his knowledge and fun memories, she says.
Per Yng, among other things former sports director at SVT, also got the chance to work with Tommy Engstrand.
- Tommy was a cheerleader.
A wonderful colleague.
We did a lot of tennis together.
He was a few years older than me so I listened to his classic radio report and then I got to work with him and it was so big, says Yng.
