not disclosing the nationality of the confirmed person for privacy reasons, the organizers of the tournament said that the person who was confirmed is currently in quarantine at the designated hotel after leaving the athletes' village.

The first confirmed case came out of the athletes' village, where 18,000 athletes are staying, and quarantine is urgent.

Concerns about the spread are growing as the organizing committee allowed outside food service through a delivery app at the athletes' village two days ago.

So far, the cumulative number of corona19 confirmed by Olympic officials has risen to 45.

The Korean delegation will start entering the village from tomorrow (17th).

Meanwhile, a Ugandan weightlifter who was training in Osaka suddenly disappeared yesterday, leaving a hole in the management of the squad.

According to Japanese media, the athlete left a note saying, "Life is difficult in Uganda, so I want to work in Japan." It is known that he bought a Shinkansen ticket to Nagoya.

Anxiety is spreading six days before the opening as loopholes in quarantine continue to be revealed, such as players who can only move to limited places and come into contact with locals.
