The junior team participates in the World Wrestling Championship in Hungary.

The national under-17 wrestling team will participate in the World Wrestling Championship for different age groups, which will be held in Hungary from July 19 to 25, under the supervision of the International Wrestling Federation and the organization of the Hungarian Wrestling Federation.

The expedition, which departs tomorrow for Budapest, includes the players Khalifa Mohammed Al-Hafeiti, participating in the under 92 kg weight, and Abdullah Rashid Al Kayani, participating in the under 61 kg weight competition, along with the coach of the Fujairah Martial Arts Club, Tawfiq Ibrahim Al-Sayed, and Shaaban Al-Sayed Shaaban, the technical director of the Federation.

The players completed their readiness to participate in the world championship through the first external camp, which was held at the Olympic Sports Center in Maadi in Cairo, with the participation of the Egyptian youth team, and the final internal camp hosted by the Fujairah Martial Arts Club in Fujairah.

Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Darei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Wrestling and Judo Federation, urged the players to provide distinguished levels and represent the country in an honorable manner, stressing the need to adhere to health precautions in accordance with the directives of the Game Federation and the Organizing Committee to ensure safety for all.
