A few weeks ago, André Göransson, 27 years old from Höllviken in Skåne, reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon's doubles tournament.

The successes at Wimbledon, in pairs with the Norwegian world player Casper Ruud, gave André Göransson a real boost in the world rankings in doubles.

- We only took match after match, says Göransson.

A big boost for me, both in terms of double ranking and tennis career.

Among the world's 70 best doubles players, it is now significantly easier to get into the main competitions in the upcoming grand slam tournaments in New York and Melbourne.

In 2021, André Göransson has played with 14 different double partners.

The lack of continuity and long-term perspective has of course been a problem for Göransson.

But for SVT Sport, he now reveals that he will play with one and the same double partner throughout the autumn.

The American Austin Krajicek, ranked number 50 in the world, Göransson becomes a more consistent double partner.

- Both want to start something together, so it will be fun, says Göransson.
