The 22-year-old de Minaur played at Wimbledon where he lost to the American Sebastian Korda in the first round.
"We know that no other tennis player has had physical contact with Alex since leaving Wimbledon on July 5, where he tested negative," said Ian Chesterman of the Australian Olympic Committee.
