Wydad compensates for the disappointment of the African champions with the 21st Moroccan League title

Wydad Casablanca won the Moroccan Football League title for the twenty-first time in its history, after beating its host Mouloudia Oujda 2-0 yesterday in the twenty-seventh stage.

Ayoub Al Kaabi (65) and Yahya Attia Allah (90 + 1) scored the two goals for Wydad.

Wydad achieved its fifth victory in a row, while it needed a tie point to secure the title, three stages before the end of the league, and thus compensates for the disappointment of farewell to the Champions League from the fourth round.

Wydad increased its score to 63 points, 11 points behind its rivals, Raja, as it has only lost twice in 27 matches so far.

Wydad is 9 titles away from Raja and the Royal Army, which won 12 titles.

As soon as the referee blew the final whistle, Wydad players unleashed their joy and their supporters took to the streets of Casablanca to celebrate, raising the slogan "Dima Wedad" (Always Wydad).

It is noteworthy that Wydad reached the semi-finals of the African Champions League this season, where it was defeated by the South African Kaiser Chevish, who is in the final with Al-Ahly of Egypt on Saturday.
