Elias Ymer, ranked 169th, got off to a tough start on the gravel in Båstad.

The Swede lost the serve immediately when Henri Laaksonen opened strongly and took two straight games.

From there, the latter had a big advantage in the first set, which he eventually took home to 6-2.

Ymer got an even better opening on the second set.

This time it was the 25-year-old's turn to win two straight games, and he clearly looked better.

However, the 134-ranked opponent came back and equalized to 2-2.

The set then became an even story that was won by Laaksonen with 7-5.

It was not really Ymer's match today and he had a total of four double faults, one in the first set and three in the second.

Laaksonen, who took home the victory in two straight sets, continues to impress.

He beat in the round before this out the 62-ranked Italian Lorenzo Musetti to the numbers 2-1 (6-2, 3-6, 6-4) in sets.
