Abdel Hafeez: Al-Ahly is at the top of its focus to win the African Champions League title

The director of football at the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, Sayed Abdel Hafeez, confirmed that his team is ready to face Cairo's Chiefs, scheduled for tomorrow, at the Mohammed V complex in Morocco, in the final of the African Champions League.

In statements to the club's official website, Abdel Hafeez said that all things are completely stable in the team's mission in Morocco, and the team is in the utmost focus in order to win the championship title at the expense of the South African Kaizer Chiefs.

He added that Al-Ahly is training hard, and there is a state of optimism among all members of the mission; In order to return to Cairo with the African Champions League title for the tenth time. He explained, "We fully respect the Kaizer Chiefs team, and we reject any attempts to belittle it just because it has never won the African Champions League." He continued, "The Kaizer Chiefs team's arrival to the final of the African Champions League at the expense of large teams, the last of which was Moroccan Wydad in the semi-finals of the tournament, confirms that the South African champion is strong, offers team football, and also has ambitions to win the title for the first time."

He stressed that football does not recognize names or history, and there are many lessons on this point, adding: "We have to play the African final match with all seriousness and strength, armed with Al-Ahly's personality, in order to achieve the dear African title, and to delight the fans who always support us."
