Athletes from each country participating in the Tokyo Olympics are entering Japan one after another, but on the 15th, horses participating in equestrian also arrived in Japan.

The equestrian of the Tokyo Olympics will begin on July 24th, the second day of the Games, from the "Dressage" event.

Prior to this, a freighter from Belgium carrying 36 horses participating in the tournament arrived at Haneda Airport around 2:00 am on the 15th.

When the container containing the horse is unloaded from the aircraft to the ground, the horse is pulled from the container by a staff member and transferred to a transportation vehicle called a horse trailer, which is the venue for horse riding in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. It was carried to the public garden.

Horses will be prepared for the tournament after being examined by a veterinarian and quarantined by an animal quarantine station at Equestrian Park.

According to the Games Organizing Committee, about 330 horses are expected to arrive in Japan by mid-August, including the Paralympics.
