His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, stressed that "achieving more sporting achievements at the level of winning titles depends not only on the quality of players, coaches and available budgets, but also on proper planning and good preparation, through training camps. His Highness urged the clubs, at the beginning of the preparation journey for the next sports season, to make the most of the preparation camps, as they represent the first stage of preparing players for the next season, which we all strive to be a distinguished season at the level of results for all teams, groups and sports.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Board of Directors of the Dubai Sports Council, also directed the development of an executive plan to develop the sports sector in Dubai for the next 10 years, which is commensurate with the movement of development in various fields, and in line with the plans of the Dubai government in terms of the growing practice of sports In society, as well as increasing the contribution of the sports sector to the national GDP and the labor market, and enhancing the role of sports tourism and sports investment, where there are attractive legal legislation, and sports, tourism and medical infrastructure that support this field.

This came during the fourth meeting of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Sports Council, which was held, the day before yesterday, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Council, and in the presence of the Vice Chairman of the Council, Mattar Al Tayer, and members of the Board of Directors: Ahmed Al Shafar, Mohammed Al Kamali, Dr. Abdullah Al-Karam, Maryam Al-Hammadi, Moza Al-Marri, Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Council, and Nasser Aman Al Rahma, Assistant Secretary-General of the Council.

The Dubai Sports Council said, in a statement yesterday: "The plan for the sports sector for the Emirate of Dubai, which was developed by the Dubai Sports Council, and directed by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to start implementing it on many axes, foremost of which is the development of the performance of sports clubs and institutions, At the level of attracting athletes of various categories, achieving championships and winning titles, it also aims to make Dubai a forum for sports stars, a headquarters for decision-makers in regional and international sports, a preferred place for organizing major sporting tournaments and events, an attractive land for investors and entrepreneurs in the sports field, and an incubator For creators, innovators and talents in the sports industry, a pioneer in new fields in future sports and electronic games, a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence uses in the sports field, and a pioneer in creating new jobs for the sports future.

He added: "The Dubai Sports Council's plan also includes making Dubai the headquarters of more international sports federations recognized by the International Olympic Committee, and increasing the number of camps for Arab and international teams and teams in Dubai, to more than 100 annual training camps, and for a period of up to three weeks for the training camp. In addition to increasing the number of sports academies to more than 400, increasing physical training centers to more than 400 centers and a training hall, and increasing the number of various annual sports events to more than 400 events for all sports and categories, and increasing the number of companies operating in various sports fields. Including organizing events, manufacturing and selling sports equipment and increasing the number of workers in them.”

The council continued:“At the meeting, a report on the sports sector budget for the next year, detailed plans for that, and the amount of government support for the sports sector for the next year was reviewed, in addition to a detailed report on reaching the stage of self-sufficiency for clubs and football companies in Dubai, and providing capabilities that support the efforts of Clubs in this important subject, as well as the process of continuous development in the field of optimal investment of resources in Dubai clubs, within the government directives, action plans and regulations approved by the Dubai Sports Council, where the Council is keen to provide opportunities for clubs to develop performance at the level of sports results for various teams, as well as at the level of Developing aspects of administrative work, which is a basic pillar that contributes to achieving the desired results at the level of athletes and teams. These aspects are pursued by the Dubai Sports Council in accordance with specific and approved mechanisms, in agreement with the clubs’ boards of directors, according to which performance is evaluated and clubs are announced, and athletes with the highest scores from DifferenceThe evaluation is part of the sports excellence model, and they are honored at the sports excellence ceremony organized by the council.”

The Dubai Sports Council stressed the availability of sports for all, and that the clubs continue their efforts to encourage all citizens of the country to practice sports, and to provide them with the opportunity to play and train in a safe atmosphere that distances them from harmful habits, which sports can be a major reason to stay away from.

During the meeting, the Board of Directors reviewed the preparations for major events that will be organized during the coming period, including major international and international events, which will be organized for the first time in the country, in cooperation with “Expo” and in coordination with various international sports federations, in addition to many topics raised within agenda and take appropriate decisions thereon.
