On July 14, the list of the Chinese sports delegation for the Tokyo Olympics was announced. The total number is 777, including 431 athletes (298 female athletes and 133 male athletes), and 307 sports team staff such as coaches, team leaders, and medical personnel. There are 39 staff members of the regiment department.
Among the athletes, 24 people in 11 events are Olympic champions, 19 of them are Rio Olympic champions, including Cao Yuan, Zhao Shuai, Shi Zhiyong, Zhu Ting, Zhong Tianshi, Ma Long, Chen Long and so on.
The Tokyo Olympics is the largest overseas Olympic Games for the Chinese sports delegation.
At present, the vaccination rate of delegation members has reached 99.61%.
