The world champion and national bodybuilding team player Almas Musa Al Balushi confirmed his readiness to compete in the upcoming international championships, stressing that "preserving the World Cup title for bodybuilding is my top priority."

He stressed that the conditions related to the "Corona" pandemic did not prevent him from continuing his training, and thus his readiness for the upcoming competitions.

Al-Balushi told "Emirates Today": "My participation in world and international tournaments is not many, but my results are of a qualitative nature. From 10 participations, I won four gold medals, four silver medals, in addition to obtaining a professional card, and most importantly the title of champion of champions."

He continued, "I am very much looking forward to preserving the world championship title that I won during the World Cup that was held in Fujairah 2019, and I seek to repeat the same achievement in the next world championship."

He added, "I realize that the task is not easy, but no championship is achieved without great efforts, and the goal of participating in professional tournaments will be the most important goal for me and to win the most advanced positions."

Al Balushi said that "the UAE bodybuilding sport has developed a lot during the past 10 years, due to the distinguished and civilized infrastructure in the country, which made it the third sports after football and jiu-jitsu popular in the Emirates," calling on young players to be patient during training, adhere to coaches' advice and not stay up for long. And not to rush to achieve results, stressing that it is one of the most important conditions for development to reach international podiums.
