Under these circumstances, the Organizing Committee announced on the 10th that one of the people involved in the Games who came to Japan from overseas was found to be positive for the new coronavirus test.



According to the Organizing Committee, one person who was found to be positive was tested positive on the 9th during a 14-day quarantine period in Tokyo.



The people involved in the Games are not athletes, but include the IOC = International Olympic Committee, international sports organizations, and tournament sponsors.



As a result, since the 1st of this month, 18 people related to the Games and media officials announced by the Organizing Committee have been positive in the test for the new coronavirus, and 2 cases have been positive for those who came to Japan from overseas. This is an example.
