Rebecca Peterson is on to the semifinals of the Nordea Open in Båstad.

The Swede defeated Aliona Bolsova from Spain with 2-0 in sets (7-5, 6.4).

25-year-old Peterson took home the first set 7-5.

In the second set, Rebecca Peterson took the lead 5-4 and had the chance to take home the match if she broke Bolsova's serve.

Which she also did.

The Swede took home the second set with the numbers 6-4 with what was her second match ball.

- I think I managed to stay ball by ball and that was what decided, says Rebecca Peterson after the match.

The victory in front of the Swedish audience meant a little extra for Peterson.

- There has been a lack of playing with audiences, especially now that it is at home in Sweden in front of Swedish audiences, she says.

Olga Govortsova from Belarus is now waiting in the semifinals.
