During the night until Tuesday, the final series in the NHL between Tampa Bay and the Montreal Canadiens can be decided.

Tampa Bay leads 3-0 in matches and is thus only a victory from being crowned Stanley Cup champion for the second year in a row.

But there's one who does not want Tampa Bay to win tonight's meeting - namely Tampa Mayor Jane Castor.

- We would like Lightning to take it easy, give the Canadians some respite and let them win a game at home.

Then you can return to Tampa and win the Stanley Cup, Castor tells Sportsnet.

A loss would thus mean that the team has the chance to secure the title at home instead.

When the Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup 2020, the championship was played in a bubble and the last time the Florida team had to lift the dent in front of the home fans was in 2004.

Montreal has a tough challenge ahead of them, only once in history has a team managed to turn a 0-3 deficit into a final series.
