With 13 minutes played, Djurgården had a fantastic opportunity to reply but his shot flew harmlessly into the side-netting of the goal.

A penalty kick that right-back Aslak Witry managed well by putting it 1-0 - to the cheers of the 7282 spectators.

The goal was the fullback's fourth of the season.

After the goal, the home team increased the pace in search of a second goal.

In the final stages of the first half, Örebro got a little more of the ball possession.

After a ball win at half-time by Nordin Gerzic, David Seger drove the ball up, and without any pressure he fired a shot that hit the crossbar.

But it was Djurgården who led at half time.

- We are a little better the last ten minutes, but unfortunately we had too many ball losses and we are scattered.

We create some half chances and Seger had his shot in the crossbar.

We level the last quarter, Örebro's captain Nordin Gerzic told Discovery + at half time.

Up in temporary league lead

Örebro started the second half with a dangerous finish.

Romain Gall turned in from the right and fired a shot towards the far post - but the Djurgårds goalkeeper controlled the finish.

In the 57th minute, Örebro was replaced by Kevin Walker, who left Djurgården last season after six years at the club.

But shortly after the break-in, Djurgården would expand its lead.

After a pass from Kalle Holmberg, Magnus Eriksson placed the ball nicely with his left foot - and 2-0 was a fact.

And in the 88th minute of the match, Emmanuel Banda fixed the final score to 3-0 with a finish from close range.

The victory means that Djurgården now steps up in the temporary league lead.
