The Tokyo Olympic torch relay held in Ibaraki Prefecture will be held on the 5th and 2nd days, connecting the torch in eight cities including Koga City and Bando City.

The Tokyo Olympic Torch Relay is held in Ibaraki Prefecture on the 4th and 5th for two days.

On the 4th of the first day, we started Kashima City and connected the torch in eight cities and towns, including Hitachinaka City, which was damaged by the tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and Daigo Town, which was severely damaged by Typhoon No. 19.

On the 5th, the last day of the prefecture, the west exit of JR Koga Station in Koga City started after 9 am, and Joso City, where the Kinugawa embankment broke due to heavy rains in the Kanto and Tohoku regions six years ago, and Ushiku, known for the Buddha of Ushiku. We will run through eight cities, including the city, and aim for the goal of Kenkyu Gakuen Ekimae Park in Tsukuba City.

Ibaraki Prefecture is conducting a torch relay on public roads because the infection situation is calm, but we are calling for live broadcasting to refrain from viewing along the road, and if you want to see it along the road, wear a mask and others. We are demanding thorough infection prevention measures such as keeping a distance from other people.
