The traditional duel takes place between the third division club 1. FC Kaiserslautern and the Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach.
First division club VfB Stuttgart does not yet know its opponent.
The Swabians were drawn to the "Participant of the Berlin Football Association".
BFC Dynamo is currently registered by the BFV.
"However, another club from the area of the Berlin FV appealed to the DFB Federal Court on July 1, 2021 against the designation of the BFC Dynamo by the BFV," the DFB announced.
