The 18-year-old talent Hanna Lundberg makes her debut in the World Cup context today when the championship starts in the Czech Republic.

Hanna Lundberg, who finished eighth at the European Championships this year, is compared to none other than national team colleague Tove Alexandersson.

- Absolutely we have similarities, but we are also two completely different people.

I am very inspired by her but try to go my own way, says Hanna Lundberg.

Now she will try to make a successful debut at the World Cup.

- It feels great, great fun to finally be up and running and I am super charged to be able to make this debut, she says.

"She is amazing"

The sprint takes place in Terezin, a walled city that was the site of a German concentration camp during World War II.

- It is a special area and it will require quick decisions and also very wise decisions.

So it is important not to be too stressed but still be offensive in their actions.

Federation captain Håkan Carlsson about Hanna Lundberg:

- She has really taken a step in her development and is really ready to be here.

She is amazing.

That she brings with her important qualities for the future is the most important thing.

Tove Alexandersson, who will also start today, has no World Cup gold in sprint and is thus chasing her first today.
