He advanced to the third round of Wimbledon as the oldest to do so in 46 years.

On Saturday, Roger Federer, 39, also advanced to the fourth round after beating Britain's Cameron Norrie, 25, 3-1 (6-4, 6-4, 5-7, 6-4).

After some effort, the veteran was able to take home both the first and second sets.

In the third set of the match, a big cheer erupted in the stands on the center court when 25-year-old Norrie fought back against Federer and forced a fourth.

And once there, he gave the eight-time Wimbledon champion a solid match.

But after two hours and 34 minutes, the match was over and Federer continued.
