Today, Great Britain took its skateboarders to the Olympics in Tokyo.

The winners were Sky Brown, 13, and Bombette Martin, 14.

The super talent Brown thus breaks swimmer Margery Hinton's age record from the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics.

Brown may also have medal hopes as she has been beaten at the top of the world in recent years.

- It not only writes history as the UK's first skateboarder in the Olympics of all time, but Sky also writes history when she becomes the youngest summer Olympics, says Team GB's Mark England.

Brown has had a tough road to the Olympics when she crashed brutally last year and suffered fractures in her skull and hand.

Britain's youngest winter Olympics of all time is figure skater Cecilia Colledge, who was 11 years old when she competed in Lake Placid in 1932.
