The records of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo are not limited to football only, but extend to profits from social networking sites as well, by achieving record profits much greater than the rest of the world's stars in all fields.

And reports from the Spanish economic newspaper, Expansión, stated that Ronaldo receives more money from social networking sites than his annual salary with his Italian team Juventus, estimated at 31 million euros.

The newspaper said that Ronaldo earns 1.6 million dollars (1.35 million euros) for a single funded post on Instagram, and this makes him outperform many of the major influencers on social media in the world, including actress Kim Kardashian and multi-talented Dwayne Johnson, also known as (The Rock).

This is not surprising for the Portuguese star, who finally became the first to reach 300 million followers on Instagram.

The massive profits made Ronaldo the first billionaire soccer star last year, followed by Argentine star Lionel Messi.
