"Even now, I admit my mistake and am deeply reflecting on it. But I don't think it's not. It seems that my volleyball life is over... I'm not sure what to do now."

On the afternoon of the 30th, the women's volleyball team, Heungkuk Life, released a press release in the name of the club owner and announced the final position on the twin sisters Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young, who were caught up in the controversy over school violence.

The club said, "We apologize for disappointing fans who love volleyball."

“School violence is a practice that should be eradicated from society, and as the owner of the club, I feel responsible and apologetic for causing a scandal by a team player involved in school violence.”

After hearing the news of the club's abandonment of player registration, SBS contacted Lee Jae-young.

It was difficult to reach the phone and I carefully asked for a position.

Lee Jae-young first apologized for causing a scandal with the school violence controversy.

He said, "I'm really sorry and I'm having a hard time. This situation is very difficult, and I'm spending every day with a sorry heart. I'm really sorry."

Sisters Lee Jae-young and Lee Da-young left the court during the season due to school violence in February.

Heungkuk Life Club, which had been showing a shaky attitude, voluntarily imposed an indefinite suspension as the social repercussions grew.

And just waiting for public opinion to calm down and do nothing.

We did not actively help our players Jae-young Lee and Da-young Lee, nor did they pursue a meeting to ask for forgiveness from the victims.

At the same time, he publicly announced that he would register the two players as members of the Korea Volleyball Federation KOVO, which sparked criticism.

Jae-young Lee confessed that 'the club forced me not to do anything'.

"We wanted to explain after the incident happened. We wanted to admit our mistakes and explain what wasn't. But the club told us not to do it. If we take a stand, we press 'we'll give up, let go'. We have no choice but to follow the word of the club. When they say, 'I will terminate the contract.' Up until now, we have only believed and followed the word of the club. 'Trust us and wait. Don't move.'

Then, later on, he kept saying, 'Don't make a noise for nothing. Please think about the image of the (company).' In the meantime, we kept falling apart."

Jae-young Lee is still sorry and reflects on the victims who were hurt because of herself and Da-young, but explained that some of the contents were not true.

“At that time, Da-young Lee and the victim had a physical fight with each other. While hitting and hitting, Da-young was so angry that she picked up the folding knife in the dorm. But she never swung it. She never touched her neck. But she said, ‘I stabbed and there was blood on the wall. We were injustice because we insisted on 'I stabbed', etc. When that happened, my mother called us to kneel in front of the friend and apologized. We begged forgiveness by saying, 'I'm sorry. "No. I'm sorry." I solved it well. I solved it well and it was over. But it suddenly burst like this... I tried to apologize if the wound wasn't healed. So something happened and I contacted the friends."

Jae-Young Lee continued to contact the victims to ask for forgiveness. However, the victims said they refused to meet and were told not to contact them again.

“We wanted to acknowledge our mistake and apologize for that. So we contacted and expressed our intentions, but suddenly they didn’t answer and they said, ‘Do not contact us again’ or ‘The contact information is exposed’. I was shocked to see the press interview. I could only cry when I saw the news. I really wanted to meet and talk."

Jae-Young Lee, who has lost his team, said, 'It seems that my volleyball life is over' and will take an active response in the future to correct the unfairness.
