A small squad of 18 players will go to the Olympics in Tokyo this summer.

For that reason, many good players have been selected.

- There are some players who ended up outside, tough for us and tough for them.

There are certainly some disappointed players, says Swedish national team captain Peter Gerhardsson at the press conference.

One who does not go to the Olympics is 24-year-old Johanna Rytting Kaneryd.

Although she has made impressive contributions during the recent national team gatherings, she was not present when Gerhardsson read out the Olympic squad.

- I feel that I got the chance to show what I stand for and have had a strong spring season.

Actually the whole semester.

Have shown who I am but it was not enough, she says to Sportbladet.

The 24-year-old was neither a regular nor a reserve.

- Yes, what can one say.

I feel disappointed.

I know it is tough competition but hoped for it in the end, she says and continues.

- I feel it's unfair.

But it is up to them in the national team management.

They are the ones who choose which players they want to include.
