Economy Carlo Ancelotti enters the list of defaulters of the Treasury and Dani Alves and Rodrigo Rato return
Real Madrid The intrahistory of Ancelotti's return: "It took him five minutes to say yes"
The
Tax Agency
requires
Real Madrid
to seize the salary of its new coach, the Italian
Carlo Ancelotti
, to settle a debt of
1,420,120.51 euros
.
In parallel, the Court of Instruction 35 of Madrid has just
indicted him for a tax offense
and will have to testify on
July 23
.
The Treasury has sent an order to the club, to which EL MUNDO has had exclusive access, by means of which it demands that all the income received by the new coach be made available to the Treasury to settle, on the one hand, a
tax debt of 1,396 .875.33 euros
.
And, on the other, 23,245.18 euros for late payment interest.
The Special Delegation of Finance in Madrid has sent this communication to Real Madrid in record time, just
48 hours after learning of the hiring of Ancelotti
to replace
Zinedine Zidane
.
In parallel, he has sent a copy to the Italian coach's home in Madrid.
The reason for this communication lies in the
judicial procedure that Ancelotti has opened in Spain
after the Prosecutor's Office denounced him for the commission of
two alleged tax crimes
during his first stage as a coach of the white club.
The Treasury argument
The Treasury maintains that despite the fact that the Italian coach resided in Spain between
2013 and 2015
, he did not correctly declare in our country his income from both Real Madrid and his image rights.
The Public Ministry argues that Ancelotti acted "
with the intention of unjustifiably evading his obligations
to the public treasury."
Ancelotti's tax problem lies in the fact that he channeled all his income through an English company that he had established since his time as a
Chelsea manager
.
In this way, he
paid 10%
tax
compared to the 45% required by
Spanish tax
regulations
, which also claims that being a resident in Spain he had to fully declare his income in our country.
In parallel, the Court of Instruction number 35 of Madrid has summoned Ancelotti on July 23 as a defendant for a tax offense to declare and explain the tax operation he used to pay less.
The Treasury claims in 2014 the payment of some
300,000 euros in
addition to the 3.2 million that it already paid.
In 2015, the season in which he paid 7 million in taxes
, they claim an additional € 675,000.
Ancelotti thus becomes the new star in the world of football immersed in a criminal process instituted by the Treasury, as players under his command such as
Cristiano Ronaldo or Marcelo have already been
.
From now on, the coach must decide whether to reach an agreement with the Treasury by paying the tax debt and the corresponding fine or if, on the contrary, he decides to oppose the tax ruling and face a trial for a tax offense with the risk of ending with a penalty that involves his imprisonment.
