The entry event for the Japanese national swimming team for the Tokyo Olympics, which will start next month, was announced on the 28th, and Rikako Ikee will not participate in individual events, but will concentrate on relay events.
A total of 33 Japanese national teams for the Tokyo Olympics, including Ikee and Kosuke Hagino, who broke the standard dispatch record at the Japan Championship in April, have been appointed.
On the 28th, the Japan Swimming Federation announced the entry events for each athlete's Olympics, of which Ikee entered the women's 400m relay.
Regarding the medley relay that Ikee has decided to represent, the final member will be decided based on the condition immediately before, and Ikee will participate in the third event of the women's medley relay and the mixed medley relay. There is a possibility, but this year's tournament will focus on the relay event instead of participating in the individual event.
