The Professional Association held its regular general assembly meeting for the sports season 2020-2021, yesterday, headed by Abdullah Nasser Al-Junaibi, President of the Association, and in the presence of representatives of the 14 professional clubs, members of the Association’s Board of Directors, and Executive Director Walid Al Hosani. In line with the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the “Covid-19” virus.
According to a statement issued by the association, during the meeting, the minutes of the previous meeting were approved, and three members were appointed to review the minutes of the meeting. and Mohamed Ali Amer, Board Member and CEO of Al Wasl Football Club Company.
The Executive Director of the Association presented a report of completion and follow-up to the decisions of the Ordinary General Assembly for the year 2020, and gave a detailed presentation on the activity report for the 2020-2021 season, which included what had been accomplished during the past season in various technical, organizational, marketing, and administrative fields.
It was also approved that Deloitte & Touche be appointed as an independent external auditor, to perform the task of auditing the financial statements of the Association for the year ending on June 30, 2021, in accordance with the approved policies and procedures.
